Site status update (Update on 14th)
1) There seem to be a failure in ThirattiG’s feeds. Google’s Blog search mechanism which is an underlying architecture for the ThirattiG seem to have been changed. We hope to find alternatives.
(Update: Due to problem with the search mechanism of Gooogle, we display only blogspot blogs )
2) We have been reported of issues related to wrong images are shown for the post preview images. This normally happens due to certain special characters in the image or URL. (The wrong image itself is might be a previously cached one.) We are working on fixing the problem. In case if you are one of a victim, please send us your blog post URL.
3) Some users have said.. they have to do many pings for the aggregator to aggregate the feed. It’s more than 10+ times we believe. Kind of bad thou :-( .
Once a blog post is ping-ed and/or successfully aggregated, please give the system a breathing (caching :-)) time for the next post to get aggregated! (Tip: a repeated pinging does works!!)
We’ll soon try to fix the issues 2 & 3 … but we are keeping them in a kind of low profile since we are quite busy with certain other enhancements and services, just for you!
