Mark a old blog as Archived

We have included a action in the user control panel to mark a blog as archived blog. Quite often, bloggers change there blog location. If one particular blog of yours is ‘old blog’, then you can optionally mark it’s status as TRUE. Archived blogs will not count in to total blogs.

அடிக்கடி வலைப்பதிவாளர்கள் புதிய வலைப்பதிவுச் சேவையை நாடிச் செல்வது வழக்கம். இதன் காரணமாக திரட்டப்படும் ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட வலைப்பதிவு, புதுப்பிக்கப்படாத வலைப்பதிவாக மாறிவிடுகிறது. இந்த விபரத்தினை தேன்கூடு கட்டளையகம் பக்கம் மூலமாக, குறிப்பிடுவதன் மூலம், வலைப்பதிவுகளின் மொத்த எண்ணிக்கை தவறாக காட்டப்படுவது தவிர்க்கப்படுகிறது.

Few known bugs were fixed. If you face further problem with the generated thumbnails, please let us know.
Along with feedburner rss feed, we have released the raw rss feed. (Note: Feedburner caches for about 30 mins)
Thenkoodu Badge is released for testing. More enhancements and detailed explanations might follow. However, some quick intro. Thenkoodu Badge is a service by which you promote fellow bloggers with the dynamic and latest content from there blog posts. In short this will put a “Mini Thenkoodu” on your site, and will bring you more traffic!

Thumbnail Images option

Few of our members insisted on giving “Thumbnail Images” as optional, along with the “With Formatting” option. Hence, we have included another option, “With Formatting & Images” in Preferences page.

If you want to see thumbnail images also with the formatted post previews, we request you to please select this option from Preferences page.

இதுவரை சிறு வில்லை வடிவில் படங்கள், ‘With Formatting’ Option தேர்ந்தெடுத்தவர்களுக்கு காட்டப்பட்டு வந்தன. தேன் கூடு உறுப்பினர்களின் விருப்பத்திற்கிணங்க, இந்த வசதி, விருப்பப்படுபவர்கள் மட்டும் பார்க்கும் விதமாக ‘With Formatting & Images’ - ஆக மாறியிருக்கிறது. எனவே, இடுகைகளில் காட்டப்படும் படங்களையும் நீங்கள் பார்க்க விரும்பினால், இந்த ‘option’-ஐ தேர்ந்தெடுத்துக்கொள்ளவும்.

RefreshTime

Recently, we made a minor enhancement that, by default, the homepage will be auto refreshed. Since, many Thenkoodu members felt, it could be conveniant if we enable that option only for those interested, we have made that change. Now the home page will not be auto refreshed unless you update your preferences.

சுயமாக முதல்பக்கம் புதுப்பிக்கப்படும் வண்ணம் ஒரு சிறு மேம்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தது; தேன்கூடு வாசகர்கள் பலரின் விருப்பத்திற்கிணங்க, அந்த வசதி விருப்பப்படுபவர்கள் மட்டும் பயன்படுத்தும் விதத்தில் இப்பொழுது மாற்றப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

Pinging Thenkoodu.com

To bring a seamless blogging experience in Tamil Blogdom, we have provided the option for Pinging Thenkoodu.com.
Now, it’s handy, you can show up your posts immediately in Thenkoodu.com.

(By the way, we appreciate Thamizmanam.com’s move towards pinging approach; xml-rpc based architecture might be much desirable.)

Some Tips:

Only Enter blog URL; if error, try entering only “blogname.blogspot”.
After submitting and pinging successfully, bookmark the page for future. Hence, you don’t need to re-enter the url again and again.

Forgot Password option
